A very subjective look into AWFC

The season isn’t even over yet and I don’t think I can handle all the transfer possibilities, rumors and done deals. The thought of keeping up with that every single day, specially during a long summer, might be the end of me and this blog haha. I promise I will do what I can to stay consistent and switch it up a bit here and there.

Crazily enough, most of these things aren’t about current Arsenal players, though there’s definitely going to be some seismic shifts for our squad, but I’m talking more about the potential landscape of the WSL as a whole, who moves where and WHY.

I’m not good at keeping up with contract negotiations but every summer it feels like everybody’s contract is up and I even forget who we have signed to a long term contract but don’t worry, we’re gonna hear about it every day, and twitter is going to be an absolute chaotic space.

What I know is that there is absolutely nothing I can do as a fan except surrender to the fact that I don’t control anything and whatever happens I must focus on the players’ well being and happiness regardless of which club they play for.

But one of the things some people do is start rumors out of boredom. Which not only is it absolutely insane and irresponsible but in reality it says more about the person starting the rumor than the idea of the transfer or the lie of it’s foundation itself.

Speculation and all that can be very fun and exciting too, don’t get me wrong, and of course I’ll be chatting about some of those things and I will share soon who I’d love to see at Arsenal.

In other news, Viv has a great interview out which I’m sure you’ve seen. I just wish the interviewer would’ve talked less and not answer the questions while asking them, but this happens so much it’s comical.
