501

Yesterday’s post ended with me bringing up the absolutely insane fact that it was my 500th post, meaning that today it’s post #501. This to me is wild on so many levels and even though it seems like I will be talking about me on this post as well, I promise you it’s really about you.

The reason why I say this is because as much as I created this blog for me and or my growth and consistency and all of that, I didn’t just do it without care of the content itself and how it can affect you, the reader. I definitely do not condition what I write to what I think you might want to hear and that is because I respect you and I owe you honesty. Regardless if I’m right or wrong and whether you agree with me or not, I have to be responsibly open and honest because at the end of the day it’s what you deserve.

This is something that I want to underline: just because I say I’m being honest doesn’t mean that my opinion is true or should be seen as that. Absolutely not. These are just my thoughts, feelings and opinions. I am open with that, whereas other content creators in football (and this happens TONS in the AWFC space) have also feelings and vibes just like I do, but they find stats and player comps to fit their narrative. It’s quite impressive actually.

Kindly putting you, the reader, to a side, I have to express my gratitude to all the players at AWFC and of course the club as a whole. It has been such an incredible pleasure and creative exercise to write every single day about this super special group of players that keeps changing and evolving and I kinda regret no starting sooner but it would’ve been basically a DvD blog. The OG DvD aka the one true goat aka the player that we’re missing.

What do I look forward to writing about in the next 500 posts? Ideally a WSL title, a new manager, more players coming in, statues for legends, maybe the first ever All Or Nothing for a women’s team, a CL title, Viv coming back, etc etc etc.

I’m just like you though, blog or no blog, and I need the season to start soon, I wanna start waking up at 4am every weekend again and all of the amazing things that happen when Arsenal Women play.
